Are you energetic and enthusiastic, with a real desire to work with young children?  Have you had some experience working with young children, such as babysitting, placement in a nursery/school, volunteering with brownies, etc?  Do you have or are you expecting to achieve Grade C/Grade 4 at GCSE Maths and English Language (or Functional Skills at Level 2 in English and Maths for Level 3, or GCSE Grade D/Grade 3 at GCSE for Level 2.  If so, you may be just who we are looking for!

You will have the opportunity to work and train in our outstanding day nursery situated in large beautiful gardens.  You will have regular tutorials in our on-site training college and receive regular support and access to your on-site tutor/assessor.  You will work towards achieving the CACHE Level 3 or Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator).

YOU WILL BE PAID WHILST YOU TRAIN.  The trainee rate for a 40 hour week is £11,648.00 per annum for 16-20 year olds, £14,664.00 for 21 to 24 year olds and £15,600 for trainees who are 25 and over.

Hours:  Monday to Friday, 40 hour week
Holiday:  20 days per annum plus bank holidays and Christmas Closure
Location:  Caversham, Reading
