The charity also provides a range of educational and preventative services for children, young people and adults including meditation and mindfulness sessions to help manage relapsing conditions, such as stress, anxiety, anger, low self -esteem, pain and depression which can often lead to alcohol, illicit drug and medication dependency.
We offer:• Non-judgmental advice and information• Comprehensive assessment of need and care plan• Counselling: for family, group and one-to-one• Creative and therapeutic interventions• Outreach into schools, prisons and other agencies• Drug and alcohol preventative education• Training and awareness-raising for professionals.
Mike Sarson has been providing mindfulness meditation sessions for children, young people and teachers in Berkshire schools for over 20 years with excellent outcomes.The Techniques help to manage distractions, stress, anxiety, anger, depression and improve concentration, listening skills, behaviour and ability to relax and sleep.Saturday Meditation sessions for families:Every Saturday between 4.30pm - 5.30pm, during the School Term.Ages: Parents with children from age 5 Starting: Saturday 13th January 2018(Cost: £6 per session)
