Extention of the Borders for Caversham Traders

As some of you will have read in the minutes of the May meeting, we have taken the decision to introduce a £10 annual membership fee of the CTA. By introducing a fee, we can be sure that we are engaging with business owners who are committed to our work and are keen to hear from us on a regular basis. These members will continue to receive invitations to / minutes of meetings and communications regarding local business community issue...s (e.g. updates on the precinct), relevant promotional opportunities etc.

N.B. Those companies that are part of the Caversham Rewards Loyalty Card programme will receive automatic membership of the CTA, and will pay no additional fee, thereby making Caversham Rewards membership even better value.

We have also extended the CTA membership border further south to beyond the river and up to the railway line, thereby taking in businesses on Caversham Road, Vastern Rd, Richfield Avenue up to Cow Lane and the trading estate off Richfield Avenue. Clearly, there is a lot of work to be done to get the message out to all these new potential members. If you have any dealings with businesses in that area, please do let them know that they can now have access to CTA membership, Caversham Rewards and advertising opportunities on the Choose Caversham website.

Please note that CTA membership is not required in order to register for a premium business listing on the Choose Caversham website. Any business that is located within our membership borders is welcome to have a listing, and we strongly recommend that they make the most of this opportunity. A premium business listing costs just £30 per year and can include a detailed description of the business, photos and pdfs.
