IN December, we celebrated both our 55th birthday and a fresh beginning with a new committee with songs and popular carols followed by a festive buffet.

At the first meeting of the New Year, the resolutions for national and local campaigning were opened for discussion and a vote.

The final national WI campaign for 2017 will be decided later in the year. This month, we look forward to welcoming a speaker, telling us of life and times in London.

New members are very welcome to join our friendly group. We hold meetings on the third Thursday of the month at 7.30pm, which avoids childcare issues. There is easy parking and a lift at Church House, Prospect Street. For more information, please call our secretary on 0118 947 517
